The CUI Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational institution.  We offer free and low-cost tools and resources to help government contractors’ understand the Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI“) program and the related safeguarding requirements, including those from the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (“CMMC“) program.  

To expand our educational outreach, we are excited to partner with CUI-CON, a leading CMMC and CUI educational conference.  We will be hosting a live version of our CUI Fundamentals course at CUI-CON!  

We are also excited to partner with Tara Lemieux, a leading CMMC instructor and CMMC Lead Assessor in support of K9s for Warriors.  Ms. Lemieux has graciously created four one-of-a-kind CUI Monsters, which we will be raffling off live at CUI-CON 2026!  All proceeds from the CUI Monster raffle will be donated to K9s for Warriors.

CUI Monster raffle tickets are only available at CUI-CON 2026.  No purchase necessary.  You must be present at the drawing to win.  For each $5 donation, you will receive an additional raffle ticket.  Buyers who purchase 5 or more raffle tickets for a single CUI Monster will receive a complimentary one-year membership in the CUI Institute.  Additional details are below.

About K9s for Warriors

For those that may not know, K9s For Warriors is determined to end Veteran suicide. K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military Veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs being rescues, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.

Roughly 20 Veterans die by suicide every day, and over 1,000 dogs are euthanized. K9s For Warriors exists because of a fierce dedication to saving the lives of both Veterans and rescue dogs. This program is backed by scientific research and empowers Veterans who fought for our freedom to live a life of independence. Graduates of the program are able to live a life of renewed purpose and independence, that they previously did not think was possible. Many have reunited with their families, gone back to school, restored their relationships with family, and significantly reduced their medications.

CUI Monster Raffle Details and Rules

PROCEEDS: All proceeds from raffle will benefit K9s for Warriors.  You can also donate directly to K9s for Warriors on their website.

RULES:

  • ATTENDANCE: YOU, THE INDIVIDUAL PURCHASING THE TICKET, MUST BE PRESENT AT THE DRAWING TO WIN. 
  • Age: You must be 18 years or older to participate in the raffle
  • Cost: No purchase necessary.
  • Void: Void where prohibited.  Not open to employees or directors of the CUI Institute.
  • No Guarantee: Purchasing a raffle ticket does not guarantee that you will win.
  • No Refunds: Donations are not refundable.
  • Odds of Winning: The odds of winning will be based on the number of tickets sold for the CUI Monster being raffled.
  • Additional Tickets: For every $5 donation, you will be awarded an additional raffle ticket.
    • Bonus: An entity/individual who donates $25 or more to a single CUI Monster raffle will receive a discount code for a complimentary one-year membership in the CUI Institute (https://CUIInstitute.org). Discount codes will be sent to qualifying individuals no later than March 15, 2026.
  • Ticket Availability: 
    • All tickets must be obtained through the Zeffy website or mobile app.  Links to the raffles will be available at CUI-CON 2026.
    • Tickets will only be awarded during CUI-CON 2026.
    • Tickets will only be awarded for donations made between February 11, 2026 at 7:00 AM And February 13, 2026 at 9:30 AM.
  • Claiming Your Prize: If you are the winner, you can collect your prize at CUI-CON.
