The US Department of Defense’s Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) is about to undergo an upgrade. Users with current SPRS accounts should have received a notice that the system will be offline Monday morning from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM Eastern to upgrade to a new production version (version 3.2.13).

The new version of SPRS will reportedly include several improvements/enhancements, including:

  1. The addition of new, mandatory fields to store information related to vendors’ Security System Plan (SSP) (more details below)
  2. The ability for government users to download the scores and other information from SPRS into a spreadsheet
  3. Multiple High Level Owner (HLO) CAGE codes will be visible to vendors with approved PIEE access

The new, mandatory SSP fields include, for each Basic score submitted:

  • SSP Assessed
  • SSP Version
  • SSP Date

If you have already submitted your score, you do not need to update/resubmit your scores. However, if you are editing or updating an existing entry, you will need to enter the appropriate information the new fields, too.
